The Perucci Kitchen & Dining – Reston, VA

Perucci-Townhome-Remodel-7
The kitchen and dining area remodel of this townhome was very transformative.  We highly recommended replacing the cabinets, demolishing the 80’s bulkhead and installing 42″ H cabinets to gain more storage in the kitchen, but our client figured it wouldn’t be cost effective to bring her the additional storage she needed. We kept the existing cabinets, refinished in this beautiful blue. The trick was to complete the cabinetry with a pantry cabinet with the same color and style – so, we custom-built it! The side of the pantry cabinet consists of shallow shelves for spices and the other side is the deeper shelves for food storage.

The door adjacent to the pantry cabinet is the mechanical room which got a pocket door substituting the swing door and the laundry closet’s swing door got substituted by a barn door. All that in a small space to allow them all to function without conflict.

New lighting, shelving and wallpaper completed this absolutely colorful and stylish kitchen and dining room.
