The “BARR” Master Bathroom, Arlington, VA
This was a complete transformation of an old kitchenette and bathroom, possibly built in the 70’s to early 80’s in this 1939 home in Arlington, VA.
The objective was to create a master bathroom and a powder room with a laundry on the third floor where the client’s Master bedroom is located.
This project required replacements of existing plumbing vent pipes, leveling the subfloor by sister joisting some of the joists, re-framing the then kitchenette for the new layout, replacing all electrical wiring, running 220 new circuit to support washer and dryer, installing new exhaust fans – with LED lights and Bluetooth features, replacing water heater from gas to electrical, as an additional touch we decided to install the cabinets suspended with motion sensor lights underneath, which gave it a special look.
Our client chose black and white color theme for both rooms. In addition to the bathroom and powder room remodel, we added some slim fit led recessed lights, and gave it a fresh coat of paint on the ceilings and walls of the hallway.
Another transformation from good to great by the Panther Construction team!
